From Scotland and started in 1979 - ended in '86, Alternative released their first stuff on Crass Records' Bullshit Detector comp. LP, label which also put out the Alternative "In nomine Patri" 7" in 1982. Here you have the demos from 1982 compiled in one LP, packaged in a fold-out poster sleeve with tons of pics and info.

Clearly one of the best Anarcho-Punk heyday of the 1980s. Well written songs, intelligent lyrics, effective use of samples, melodic tunes and distorted guitars. This has everything you would expect from a Crass-related release and more. It's shocking that something this good could remain out of print for so long.
